Electronic Visit Verification - Effective 1/1/2017

The use of EVV for processing payroll started Sunday 1/1/2017.   

Your pay check is dependent on you following the EVV process.  Payroll CAN NOT be processed until verification in the system has been done via the client’s phone or the FVV device.

Notices have been sent to all staff by text, mail, web site and phone in addition to the training provided explaining how and when to begin using EVV. 

While we understand that the transition will have its difficulties the office is doing all that we can to assist with any questions or issues.

It is up to all our field staff to make sure they are following the instructions provided.

El uso de EVV para el procesamiento de las nóminas comenzó el domingo 01/01/2017.

Su cheque de pago depende del proceso EVV. No se puede procesar la nómina hasta que la verificación en el sistema se realize a través del teléfono del cliente o el dispositivo FVV.

Los avisos se han enviado a todo el personal por texto, correo electrónico, sitio web y teléfono, además de la capacitación proporcionada explicando cómo y cuándo empezar a usar EVV.

Si bien entendemos que la transición tendrá sus dificultades, la Oficina está haciendo todo lo posible para ayudar con cualquier pregunta o problema.

Corresponde a todo nuestro personal asegurarse de que están siguiendo las instrucciones proporcionadas.

 

Electronic Visit Verification - Start Date January 1, 2017

The start date for using the EVV system is
January 1, 2017

Effective Sunday, January 1, 2017 all Homemakers, Companions and Personal Care Assistants must call into the EVV system to confirm time in and time out when providing services to their assigned clients.

Field Staff must carry their packet with them always to make sure they have the Sandata phone number, Staff ID, Task Codes along with Client IDs where necessary.  Remember that payroll is processed using this new system.  Also, remember to carry timesheets with you to be used when for example, a call is forgotten, problems with the phone or system outage.

Client ID’s are only required when the client has requested the Fixed Visit Verification Device.  Devices are being installed over the next two weeks.  Staff assigned to these clients are being trained on the device and provided the client ID during the installation.

Additional Information for your packets will be mailed to you along with copies of the system generated schedules the week of December 19, 2016.

Staff News Announcements

Announcements affecting all staff will be published to our website and sent to each employee by text messaging effective Monday 11/14/2016.

Improving how we deliver news will aid in getting information to our staff faster and in a standard format.  Types of information that will be distributed are inclement weather instructions, EVV application changes along with other events impacting all staff.  This change will keep staff up to date with any changes and free up the phone lines to ensure important calls are answered timely.

Communication between field staff and the coordinators will not change.  Always call the office when needed and the office will continue to contact all staff by phone for any questions, schedule changes, client updates, coverage requests, etc.

A partir del Lunes, 14 de Noviembre del 2016 todos los cambios que afectan a todo el personal serán publicados en nuestra página de internet y también se enviarán por mensaje de texto a cada empleado.

Hemos cambiado la forma de cómo le estaremos comunicando cambios que se hagan en nuestra agencia, como las inclemencias del tiempo, problemas con la aplicación del EVV, o cualquier otro evento que involucre nuestra agencia. De esta manera usted recibirá la información más rápido y así las líneas de teléfono estarán libres para contestar llamadas de mayor importancia.

La comunicación entre el personal de campo y las coordinadoras no cambiará. De tener alguna duda o pregunta por favor comuníquese con la oficina, de igual manera nosotros continuaremos contactándolas por teléfono para notificarle cambios en los horarios, cambios en la información del cliente, para cobertura, y otra cosas más.
